“ The house is one of the best we have stayed in, if not the best! ”Modern, very clean, laid out well, ample living space, appointed very well with great furnishings, beds were very comfortable, showers were amazing, nice garden, off road parking for up to 2 cars, 2 ovens, short walk to town. Would highly recommend and also would love to return again.

“ Fantastic! Brilliant location, bright and spacious property. ”Cannot say enough about the quality of this holiday rental. Our family, including two young sons, enjoyed a lovely week with everything we needed. You don’t need to get back in your car for the week, you can walk for your groceries, to shops, cafes and restaurants, and have miles and miles of amazing walks right on the doorstep. Host was excellent at communicating and providing information. Home was extremely well equipped and appointed and had very impressive beds and showers. Lovely outdoor space and great views across the river up to the town of Barnard Castle.

“ 1 Teesdale Road is a fantastic holiday home. ”Our family had a great time enjoying the house and the garden. The house was even more spacious than we expected. It was so clean and homely. The owners have thought of everything to make it a home from home. The welcome goodies and messages (before and after arrival) from the owner Sue were very thoughtful. Even the neighbours were so helpful and chatty. The location is excellent, within walking distance to lovely pubs and restaurants and the beautiful Barnard Castle. We had some great days out at nearby attractions too. The whole experience was a delight, and we would love to return one day.
